Product Description View Slimmy is a front pocket wallet specifically designed for the person on-the-go who wisely prefers to carry a wallet in their front pocket for security and faster access. Slimmy's ultra simple, sleek design looks smart with casual, business or formal wear. It is made from the highest quality full grain leather for a soft feel and durability. Slimmy features an innovative open, three-pocket design. The ViewSlimmy adds a window to the side of the traditional Slimmy, allowing for display of an ID or business card. This patented design conforms firmly to the contour of your currency, credit cards, driver's license, business cards and receipts for maximum slimness, conforming more tightly with use. Slimmy is a break from tradition and preferred by people who love simple and can't stand clutter. STYLE WARNING: This wallet is not a magic trick. If you have a George Castanza-like wallet, with over 10 credit cards, pictures of distant relatives, and 5 years of financial records, you WILL NOT be able to magically conceal the same contents in the Slimmy. The Slimmy experience is about security, comfort and minimalism. Carry only what you need so that you are less exposed to theft, less encumbered, and look better. American Express has warned travelers, particularly men, to carry fewer credit cards and receipts in their wallets to guard against identity theft. Carrying your wallet in the front pocket further reduces your risk of any theft. The American Chiropractic Association warns against keeping a wallet in your back pocket because it can cause Sciatica. A Slimmy can help, but you have to want to change. If you are over 30 years old, have a hard time trying new things, or are resistant to change, this may be too hard for you and we ask that you consider sticking to your current plan. Getting rid of big fat wallets on butt brick at a time. Slimmy: 3.875" (L) x 2.875" (W) x 0.312" (H)

Smooth August 30, 2010 David M Seigel (Philadelphia, PA USA) I was a little skeptical at first just how securely this would hold cards. Basically I just wanted a secondary id wallet, and this functions well as that. If you wedge cards down far enough they don't really fall out unless you are intentionally shaking it hard. They can fall out though, but if you don't go out of your way to do so, they probably won't, provided you don't cram too much in.
Simply awesome August 16, 2010 dmron (PDX) I got this wallet a few weeks ago and it's great. My old wallet was getting out of control, there was so much junk in it I just stopped carrying it. The last year or so, whenever I went anywhere I would just take my license and debit card out of my wallet and carry them in my pocket. That doesn't feel very secure though, and once every month or two I'd be somewhere that I needed a card other than license/debit and that got annoying.
So I knew I needed to declare wallet bankruptcy, and started looking around on Amazon. As soon as I saw this one, I wanted it. Once it showed up I went through my wallet and decided on what stuff I *really* needed to carry with me at all times. Basically, I went from about 25 pieces of plastic, to just 6. Yeah, you could do that with any wallet, but your actual wallet is still pretty bulky. This thing is designed to be very slim in your pocket, and it does as promised. I'm extremely satisfied with it and am happy to be carrying around an actual wallet again.
As others have said, you can't just take your existing wallet and move everything to this one. It will only hold probably about 10 cards before it gets too "tight", so you need to decide what stuff you really need to carry with you. It's great purging all that junk in your existing wallet though. I feel free!
My only real complaint is the price. I think it's too expensive for what it is. But I can afford it and it was definitely worth it in the end.
tight, but slim June 5, 2010 K. Krieser (Oklahoma) I'm one of the customers that the description warned. I came from a large wallet with way too much junk in it, but due to some recent changes, and a worn out wallet, wanted a smaller wallet.
I also wanted an outside viewable window for my card I need at work.
It is tight, but it holds my bare essentials, leaving some items at home that I shouldn't have been carrying anyway.
The only down side to this small wallet is when I pull $200 or so of cash out of an ATM. It doesn't fit too well, and I have to take the money out to get individual bills.
The perfect solution February 24, 2010 Troy Warnken (Cincinnati, Ohio United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I have been looking for a small front pocket wallet for a while and I finally found it. This thing holds quite a bit plenty of cash and all the important cards I need. In fact I think I could hold every card in my old bulky wallet but why push it. I can barely tell it is in my pocket and it looks great too. It seems very durable and I am very happy with this purchase.
Great Wallet February 19, 2010 Schiffy (seattle) This is a great wallet. It holds everything pretty secure as long as you push your items in. The way they stitched the back seems to hold everthing in tightly. This is a awesome wallet if you like putting your wallet in your front pocket because it is so small and compact you hardly know it is there unless you reach for it. thinking of buying another for a friend.
